Lakewood Family Dental was established in 1947 by Dr. Donivan Ridgway, Sr. It was his goal to provide a family dentistry practice that was accessible and convenient to the residents of East Dallas. Through the years, he built one of the longest standing, highly regarded, Dallas dentistry practices' in town. Entire generations of families have been served with care and personal service at Lakewood Family Dental.

In the late 1970's, Dr. Donivan Ridgway, Jr. joined the dentistry practice and has been actively serving patients along side Dr. Rick Beadle to date. The average length of time staff members of Lakewood Family Dental have been with the practice is 15+ years. So if you find a particular dental hygienist or dental assistant you like, more than likely they will be here for a while!
