Children’s Pediatric Dentist

Top class children’s pediatric dentistry in the heart of Texas

Here at our family practice in Dallas we take the wellbeing of all our patients very seriously.  We like to do our best to make sure their teeth are well cared for, and will serve them well all their lives.

So it’s not surprising to learn that we believe seeing a children’s (pediatric) dentist from the very beginning of a child’s life can have a big impact on the care of their teeth later on.  It’s an excellent idea to develop the good habit of seeing a dentist right at the start.  This way, a child shouldn’t become nervous of the dentist, as they will be used to coming to see us and hopping up in the chair from an early age.

We do our very best here at the Lakewood Family Dental Care practice to make sure kids become familiar with what a visit to the dentist involves.  If we can get them into good habits when they’re small, and encourage them to brush their teeth regularly and not eat too many sweet things, visiting us when they’re older is more likely to be for regular check ups – instead of for fillings and extractions.

Promoting good self care of our teeth shouldn’t be a difficulty, yet many children suffer from tooth decay.  We believe dental care is as much about prevention as treatment, and we do all we can to make sure the children who visit us grow up without a lifelong fear of the dentist.

No matter what the age of your child, come and see us here at the practice so we can get to know them now, and keep an eye on their teeth during those all important formative years.  Having good strong and healthy teeth throughout your life is all about creating good habits when you’re young.

That’s an ideal gift to give to your children.
