Porcelain Veneers

The secret to a better, brighter smile

The Lakewood Family Dental Care practice is dedicated to helping our community look after their teeth for life.  We see patients of all ages, and advise them on how to care for their teeth on a daily basis.

But here in Dallas we can also offer services and treatments that can improve the current state and appearance of your teeth, and make them really stand out – for all the right reasons!

Our professional dentists – who have decades of experience in caring for the people of Lakewood – can offer porcelain veneers to improve the appearance of your teeth.  Why not contact us now to discuss the possibilities?

What exactly is a porcelain veneer?

A veneer is a thin layer of a substance that is applied on top of another object.  In this case, a thin layer of real porcelain is attached to your real teeth to instantly whiten them.

Porcelain veneers have several advantages.  Firstly, they create a brighter smile, as the discolored teeth are hidden behind them.  Secondly the veneers can be sized to make sure they cover crooked or chipped teeth.  So if your teeth are looking a little the worse for wear, porcelain veneers could be the solution you’ve been looking for.  Bleaching or Zoom whitening will brighten your teeth – but they won’t hide chips or crookedness!

Porcelain veneers are very strong and long lasting, and they are an excellent solution for those patients who want to do something about crooked, chipped and discolored teeth all in one go.

As always, we will consult with you prior to treatment, to ensure this is a suitable procedure for you, and to advise you exactly what is involved.  Our staff can also advise on the payment plans and options that are available.

If you’re not happy with the way your teeth look or feel, perhaps it’s time to consider a new look?
