The staff at Lakewood Family Dental Care is the best in town. They are mature, professional and friendly. Many of the staff have been helping dental patients over 10 years.

Meet Our Team

Vivian – Receptionist

Vivian joined the Lakewood Family Dental team in 2002. She will be answering your phone calls in addition to scheduling your appointments and being a chair side assistant when the need arises. Vivian is bi-lingual (English and Spanish). She spends her free time with her family and friends, plus is a year round soccer player.

Caren – Hygiene Coordinator/Assistant

Caren has been working here since June of 2002. She is the hygiene/assistant and coordinator, making appointments, seating patients, taking X-Rays and generally making people comfortable while at the office. Her spare time is filled with family, scrapbooking, working out, and sporting events. Caren also spends alot of time at her daughters school volunteering and serving as this years PTA secretary.

Rita – Dental Assistant

Rita is the dental assistant for Dr. Beadle and has been since 1989. (Dr. Beadle would not know what to do without her.) She enjoys making a positive difference for people greeting them with her warm and caring smile. Away from work she devotes her time to her family, cooking and outdoor activities.

Cheri – Hygiene Assistant/Coordinator

Cheri rejoined the Lakewood Family Dental team in 2005, she had originally been a dental assistant for Dr. Beadle in 1988. Her time off was spent with her family. We are glad to have her back making appointments, assisting the hygienists and doctors. She likes to go camping, hunting and boating in her free time.

Traci – Business Administrator for Dr. Slaughter

Traci has been a member of the Lakewood Family Dental team for over 15 years. Her caring attitude and clinical/financial knowledge will make you feel at ease when you arrive at our office. Traci was born and raised in Dallas and loves playing video/computer games with her teenage son, as well as, surrounding herself with family and friends.

Norma – Dental Assistant

Norma has been a part of our office for over 25 years. She works with Dr. Slaughter to promote comfort and a smooth dental experience. Norma is one of our bi-lingual staff members. She grew up in East Dallas and attended Woodrow Wilson High School and loves spending time with her family, attending church where she is an active member of the board.

Lisa – Business Administrator for Dr. Beadle

Lisa’s first exposure to the office was as a patient for 15 years, for the past 10 years she has worked for Dr. Beadle. She had always loved coming here as a patient because the staff was nice, now she gets to add to that warm friendly staff. Lisa is married to a wonderful man and has a beautiful daughter.

Chris – Dental Hygienist

For over 20 years Chris has had the pleasure of providing healthy smiles to many families. Chris’s main objective is to create a pleasant dental experience that promotes a desire to maintain a healthy mouth. She has seen many patients mature from childhood to adulthood, bring in their own kids. She is grandmother of three and enjoys being a part of this transition of our patients.

Cathy – Dental Hygienist

Cathy joined the Lakewood Family Dental team in 1999. She is a native Dallasite and graduate of the Caruth School of Dental Hygiene. Cathy aids patients in preventing and maintaining their dental and gum health. In her spare time she enjoys reading, scrapbooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
